Íàñòîÿùèé ñòàíäàðò
óñòàíàâëèâàåò ïðèìåíÿåìûå â íàóêå, òåõíèêå è ïðîèçâîäñòâå òåðìèíû è îïðåäåëåíèÿ
îñíîâíûõ ïîíÿòèé â îáëàñòè ýëåêòðè÷åñêèõ ðåëå.
Òåðìèíû,
óñòàíîâëåííûå íàñòîÿùèì ñòàíäàðòîì, îáÿçàòåëüíû äëÿ ïðèìåíåíèÿ â äîêóìåíòàöèè
âñåõ âèäîâ, íàó÷íî-òåõíè÷åñêîé, ó÷åáíîé è ñïðàâî÷íîé ëèòåðàòóðå.
Äëÿ êàæäîãî ïîíÿòèÿ
óñòàíîâëåí îäèí ñòàíäàðòèçîâàííûé òåðìèí. Ïðèìåíåíèå òåðìèíîâ - ñèíîíèìîâ
ñòàíäàðòèçîâàííîãî òåðìèíà çàïðåùàåòñÿ. Íåäîïóñòèìûå ê ïðèìåíåíèþ
òåðìèíû-ñèíîíèìû ïðèâåäåíû â ñòàíäàðòå â êà÷åñòâå ñïðàâî÷íûõ è îáîçíà÷åíû
"Íäï".
 ñëó÷àÿõ, êîãäà
íåîáõîäèìûå è äîñòàòî÷íûå ïðèçíàêè ïîíÿòèÿ ñîäåðæàòñÿ â áóêâàëüíîì çíà÷åíèè
òåðìèíà, îïðåäåëåíèå íå ïðèâåäåíî, è, ñîîòâåòñòâåííî, â ãðàôå
